Prim. Priv.-Doz. Dr. Christian Posch, PhD is head of the dermatology departments of the Hietzing, Landstraße, Ottakring and ZSG clinics. He studied human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna. He completed his clinical rotations at Linz General Hospital, Mödling Regional Hospital and his specialist training at Rudolfstiftung Hospital (now Landstrasse Clinic). Over a period of 5 years, he worked and researched in the USA at renowned universities (University of California San Francisco and Harvard University). Most recently, he worked for 4 years as head of the Skin Cancer Center at the Technical University of Munich. In addition to many years of experience in clinical dermatology, he has a comprehensive basic scientific portfolio focusing on dermato-oncology and inflammatory skin diseases and has conducted numerous clinical-scientific studies. This has also earned him numerous national and international prizes and awards. He is often requested as a lecturer. He is the principal investigator of numerous (basic) scientific studies and has his own Twitter and LinkedIn account on these topics.
